Bo Tien Mutual Help and Care

Formed in 1990, providing food provisions to vulnerable low income needy families, destitute individuals, Community Development Councils, Meet-the-People Sessions, and other charitable or voluntary organizations. Currently, estimated 1,200 vulnerable seniors and families receive our food rations on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis.

Bo Tien Mutual Help and Care aim to:

To provide food ration as additional tier assistance for vulnerable elderly individuals and needy families, regardless of race, language, or religion.

On-going Programme:

  • The food items include rice cooking oil, instant noodles, vermicelli, beverages, canned food and other household items. The items are donated by general public.

  • Food items—such as rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, vermicelli, beverages, canned goods, and some household items—are generously donated by members of the public.

  • We also purchase essential repacking materials and supplement any shortfall in food supplies as needed.

  • Volunteers are mobilised for repacking sessions held every Thursday evening and Sunday morning. The completed food ration packs are then delivered to designated distribution points across various districts according to a fixed schedule.

  • Volunteers also assist with collecting and distributing food packs from our centre to specific areas.
